The Triple Convergence.

In the third chapter of the book, Friedman explains of what he means by the triple convergence, or we can say the three factors that helped to make a global flat playing field.

1st Convergence

Is the way how the ten flatteners came all together in a way that made people feel the difference after the year 2000. The convergence of the these flatteners helped to make a global web that allowed more collaboration.

2nd Convergence

Is the appearance of many new jobs and skills. For example, the IT Specialists, business consultants, and designers. These jobs and skills made the ten flatteneres. Moreover, it helped to improve and enhance the ten flatteners.

3rd Convergence

Which is the entrance of billions of people into the playing field. During 1990s the political and the economic systems of countries such as, China, Russia, Eastern Europe, Latin America, and India opened up in a way that allowed most of these people to come together and join the free market, and that's made  an explosion in the number of workers in the global economic field.

In my opinion, the relevance of this chapter to the Iraqi's growth and development is kind of new, because Iraq needed a lot of time to settle out and be safe again. So Iraq I think has just joined the global economic field and I think we need more time until we can say that we are a part of the global game.

The Great Sorting Out

In chapter four ( The great sorting out ) Friedman explains what might follow these convergence which he believe is going to be followed by chaos and confusion. Friedman believe that the great sorting will recalibrate the walls and the ceilings of what define us. Moreover, Friedman give some example of issues that result from the triple convergence that need to be solved in the great sorting out. And the great questions Friedman asks is how should be the relation between the companies and the communities in which they operate.
